
Coleccion Alexandra is one of the main furniture suppliers of the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid hotel that has reopened after three years of renovations.
Following a three year long extensive restoration full of great enthusiasm, we can finally admire with pride the magnificent result bursting with exquisite excellence. Thank you to Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid for believing in us, in our know now and experience and for this historic renovation It has been a great honor for all of us and we are extremely proud to have participated in this extraordinary project.

The Spanish architect Rafael de La-Hoz and the French interior designers Gilles & Boissier, have been in charge of restoring this iconic hotel in Madrid to its former glory in luxurious style counting on Coleccion Alexandra as the major furniture supplier for its vast number of rooms, suites and public areas.

Traditional cabinetry, carved wood or spiral Solomonic columns are just some of the techniques applied in the furniture production using solid oak selected for this exclusive endeavor. Specially treated metals, Calcutta Gold and Saint Laurent marble for rooms and suites or high quality porcelain tiles for the hall and 5 culinary spaces, managed by the top chef Quique Dacosta, are just a few of the exclusive materials used for the renovation of this legendary building.
Handcrafted upholstery techniques including traditional cordovan deserve special mention. Exclusive velvet fabrics have been used as well as traditionally embossed leather for headboards and armchairs.

The Ritz Madrid which is a listed historical building boasts 153 luxury rooms, including 53 suites and can be said to be one of the most luxurious hotels in Europe.
